Hello again everyone!
I know that is a bit of a crazy title for this post, but if I haven’t told you already – I have been working from here in Beijing for the company I work for back in the states. You may or may not already know what I do for a living, but I help SEO Orthodontist websites so that they are more optimized for the online search engines. I know this is a little off topic from my trip here in Beijing, and I PROMISE I will be posting more updates from my travels (so don’t worry!) but in this post I wanted to share a few things I know that may help anyone reading this who in interested in this topic.
What is Orthopedic SEO?
Simply put, what I do for my job is I go into the back end of orthodontists websites, and go into each and every page on the site and tweak a few things so that the site is better structured and easily navigable. When you do this, the search engines like Yahoo.com and Bing can better understand what the website is about and in return the site is easier to find on these website for search queues. It may sound confusing but it really isn’t very difficult to understand if you know how to do it. If you maybe are looking for this type of work, there are many companies that offer Orthodontist SEO Services and probably 2-3 choices of them just in your area. Doing a simple search in your local yellow pages can easily help you find these.
Ok so now that you have a little more understanding of what I do, I’m going to go get some Sushi! I will post again very soon (about something more intertaining!) so check back soon! See Ya
So I’ve just gotten back! And boy was Beijing B-E-A-UTIFUL!. I never know there was so much history and interesting stories of there. But before I get too far, let me back track a little.
My Solo Adventure to Beijing – And It’s Anxiety
Okay, so I left for China on September 14th for a little get away from it all. I had just been so busy at work, and just constantly running around to go from one activity to another and decided I needed to go out and have a little personal alone time. I booked my flight and left town (Sheboygan, WI) within 4 days. I will admit, that flying out to China all by myself did give me a little sense of Adult separation Anxiety. I had never traveled across the globe alone and didn’t know what all to expect. Luckily my nervousness vanished within a day or two of arriving. In my past, I have struggled badly with anxious thoughts and the fear of being alone, but hadn’t had any scary symptoms in over a decade. But enough with all the sob story…
So before I get too far into this post, I think I will break it up into 3 or 4 to kinda build up some more suspense for you guys.
Okay so on the first day, I went to the Diaowo Village which is a beautiful little area just outside of town. There I ate lunch with the locals and learn a few common phrases in Chinese. Boy was that hard! After that I was pretty tired from the bus ride over so decided to call it a day and retire for the night. I don’t think my head was on the pillow for more than 30 seconds before I was fast asleep!
Hey guys! This is just a short and simple blog about my recent trip to Beijing. It is meant for just my family and friends to see, but if you come across it, and enjoy it’s content: follow along with the journey. I will be breaking down roughly 1 day for each post, and will try to post daily. So see ya tomorrow! – Fung
